Happy to be back in Germany

After a whirlwind of lectures and travels in the United States, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, I am happy to be settled in Jena, Germany for the next four months where I will be desperately trying to finish another book.  This one has been taking me a while to write because I keep getting distracted by other things.  But I only have 7 months of leave left, and come hell or high water I will finish it (all of the wonderful distractions of Germany notwithstanding!).
