# Visit to Winchester College

March 20, 2015

At the end of February, I was invited to deliver a lecture at the University of Southampton. I took the opportunity to visit Winchester College where Freeman Dyson and Frank Thompson were students in the 1930s. I visited the War Cloister and found the name of Major Thompson honored among the many Wykehamists lost in World Wars I and II.
