Here are some photos from the city of Olomouc in Moravia, including a few shots of the famous astronomical clock, supposedly built in 1422.As the Nazis retreated out of Olomouc in May of 1945, they fired upon and destroyed the medieval clock. It was rebuilt in the in the early Czechoslovak communist period using the socialist realist style. All of the previous iconography featuring saints and kings was replaced by images of workers and peasants.

Fusion clock!
