#  Article in honor of the fallen Amazon

 I was very disheartened to learn of the death of Elena Lagadinova in early November. I've been waiting to post about it until I could get an obituary published. I am so thrilled that [Jacobin](https://jacobinmag.com/2017/12/elena-lagadinova-bulgaria-partisan-amazon-gender-equality) agreed to run this article in her honor. I know she would be happy.
