#  An amazing painting from Serena Viola Corson

 For my Christmas present this year, I received the most amazing gift. This original acrylic on canvas painting, called "Vitamin C and Pennyroyal Tea, by the amazing artist [Serena Viola Corson](https://www.serenaviolacorson.com), features the spine of my 2018 book, *[Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism: And Other Arguments for Economic Independence](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Why_Women_Have_Better_Sex_Under_Socialism)* under those of de Beauvoir and Dostoyevsky. The background is my absolutely favorite color.
